really cool concepts. This is a great way to run a world.
The first Highlander movie ( and the best) they never explained from where they came. The immortals just were. This made the story so much better than the others.
I think something similar is done in Stonetop. It just asks questions about certain things having players come up with unique answers on why something is and how whatever they encounter affected them.
This setting is great. Your simple sweet tables are great. I’ve been running a campaign with a bunch of wood elf pc’s who fled the elven civil wars to this Celtic style island, and have been learning of the witches there in recent months. I have to admit, I’ve pushed the creepy factor up and hope to use your work to push it even further! Great stuff.
I still think that having interpretations from the person who wrote the lore in the first place is more valuable than it not being there. Important that it's positioned as "interpretation" rather than "truth", but for me the interpretations you have written in this post have added a really appreciated richness to your setting that the 3 lines don't.

Mr Odinson, thanks for Wenderweald.
I hadn't thought about Highlander, but you're totally right!

That sounds cool. Similar to Ironsworn?
Stonetop? As far as I know it's a dungeon world hack that was developed over 10 years
This is what I do! V effective and fun

I think you'll have heaps of creeps in short order.

You'll find some inspiration in the book, I have no doubt. And your version will be dope!
You don't see the phrase "playful cannibals" often, but it made me pause.
I'm loving everything you've talked about this new setting you're putting together. Can't wait for June 30!
The likho started as a doodle I absolutely loved. Too much fun.
