You already know this is one of, if not the most badass settings I have ever come across. I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather my characters meet their grisly deaths than under the watchful eyes of the ‘Weald. Super excited for this!
Who cares about hex size is right, it’s all about perception. I was a professional guide for a long time and wilderness crawls are sneakily difficult to simulate.
these are really nice. your stuff is really good. been following since the beginning. you and castle grief are the best at what ya'll do. can't wait for the full rules.

Buckle up, because there is *no mercy*

Right? How do you capture something that immersive by doing math?!

Thanks for the kind words! They're coming soon
This is a great approach. I love the immersion.
"Who cares?" Exactly my thoughts on hexcrawling too!
Just dropping a comment to say how much I’ve enjoyed following your development experience. Can’t wait for the full rules!
Lovely ideas ...
I love the way you have the mechanics and processes built into the text. Feels immersive!
This is absolutely wonderful stuff. I've enjoyed all that I've seen of your art and game materials.
How do you do that semi isometric hexagon pattern on your maps? Do you have a template for that, do you draw it freehand?
Is it a Photoshop brush?
I draw it freehand. It helps to lay a paper flat on the table and sit at an angle. Then draw what you see.
Easy for you to say...and do. Heheh
